Living History Reenactment Group

IMG_3463Our Living History group meets monthly to learn more about the Warwick area during the Revolutionary War, and methods and materials for making the late 18th century come alive.  Most of us develop colonial dress outfits and a “backstory” for the type of person we are portraying, which helps when  we are interacting with the public.  We participate in Revolutionary War related events in our Town, educating both adults and children.   We also sometimes visit school classes.

Not all of us “dress up”, some just develop a skill to show and share in regular clothing.

We are a  participating organization of the Orange County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, for anyone over 55 who’d like to enroll, but all ages are welcome to be members of our living history group.

There are no fees to join, but all are encouraged to join our organization with modest annual memberships so that we can afford supplies for the school programs.

Email us for more information, all welcome!  hathornhouse@gmail.com
